About the Gallery
Karma is a gallery dedicated to modern and contemporary art, with locations in New York and Los Angeles. Founded in 2011 by Brendan Dugan as a small storefront in the West Village focused on artist publications, Karma transitioned into a gallery in 2015, now operating two exhibition spaces and a bookstore in the East Village. In 2022, it expanded to Los Angeles with a space in West Hollywood. Presenting over 30 exhibitions annually, Karma showcases historic figures like Alan Saret and Thaddeus Mosley alongside contemporary talents such as Nicholas Party and Matthew Wong, often accompanied by Karma-published monographs and public programs.
