About the Gallery
Garth Greenan Gallery, established in 2011 in New York City, is a distinguished private gallery renowned for its commitment to connoisseurship and challenging prevailing art historical narratives. The gallery champions established artists, particularly those who emerged in the 1960s and 1970s, re-presenting and recontextualizing their work to foster greater recognition. More recently, its mission has expanded to include a multigenerational group of Indigenous artists, promoting a revisionist approach to art history.
With a focus on painting, alongside sculpture, drawing, and printmaking, the gallery presents approximately seven exhibitions annually, often accompanied by scholarly publications. Garth Greenan Gallery actively participates in prominent art fairs globally, including Art Basel and Frieze.
