Galerie Krinzinger, established in 1971 by art historian Dr. Ursula Krinzinger, is a distinguished international contemporary art gallery based in Vienna, Austria. With over 500 exhibitions to its name, the gallery has consistently championed both established and emerging artists. Its program is deeply rooted in Viennese Actionism and international performance and body-related art, alongside an early focus on feminist art.
Beyond its prominent solo exhibitions, Galerie Krinzinger is renowned for curating historically significant thematic group shows. The gallery also operates Krinzinger Schottenfeld, an experimental exhibition space and the first of four Artist-in-Residency locations, with additional studios in Hungary, Sri Lanka, and Croatia. Galerie Krinzinger actively participates in major global art fairs, demonstrating its commitment to fostering artistic dialogue on an international scale.
