About the Artist
Jai Chuhan (b. 1989, Mumbai; based Zürich) is a visual artist whose practice spans photographic installation and research-based public interventions. His projects explore ecology, water politics, postcolonial extractivism, and resilience through archival research, botanical fieldwork, and performative gestures. His work has been shown at Fotomuseum Winterthur, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, and conducted community‑based workshops. Chuhan uses fragile materials and plein-air documentation to foreground ecological memory and decolonial futures.
