Enrique Martínez Celaya (b.1964, Havana) holds degrees in physics (Cornell, Berkeley) and an MFA (UCSB). Transitioning from laser physics to full‑time art, his practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, printmaking, writing, and teaching. His work examines metaphysical landscapes, human vulnerability, philosophical inquiry, and memory. Exhibited in major institutions globally. A prolific author and educator, he is Professor at USC and Montgomery Fellow at Dartmouth. Lives and works in Los Angeles.
