About the Artist
Aldo Chaparro (b. 1965, Lima, Peru; lives in Mexico City, NY, Madrid) is a contemporary sculptor and designer known for his stainless‑steel sculptural objects and post‑industrial interventions. Trained in Lima, he engages formal mirroring, voids and the human body through rapid production of reflective stainless works and sculptural columns. His public art commissions explore architecture, spatial interactivity and material transformation. Chaparro also founded the influential Celeste editorial, advancing contemporary art and fashion discourse across Latin America. His work is held in major collections such as Jumex, CIFO and Cisneros.
